Two people suffered minor injuries after an accident on the A271 last night (July 7).
Emergency services were called to the junction of the A271 and the A269 between Ninfield and Boreham Street at around 10.44pm following a collision between two cars.
The crash involved a silver Subaru Forester, driven by a 52-year-old man from Brighton, and a blue Vauxhall Astra, driven by a 68-year-old man from Catsfield.
The Subaru rolled onto its side as a result of the impact. The driver was unhurt but his passenger – a 38-year-old woman from Brighton – and the Vauxhall driver suffered minor injuries. Neither went to hospital.
The junction was closed to traffic until 12.34am on Friday (July 8) while the incident was dealt with.
