UPDATE: Van fire on A27 Chichester

Sussex Police has confirmed it was called to reports of a van on fire this morning.

The incident, shortly after 6am, was on the westbound carriageway of the A27 from Chichester and slow moving traffic was reported as a result.

A spokesman said: “Both police and fire units were stood down from the scene at 6.50am. No one was injured during the incident.”
