Update: Van in collision with stationary car and Crawley bus

A passenger was taken to hospital after a van was in a collision with a stationary car and a bus.

Police and paramedics were called to the crash in Gatwick Road shortly before 4.27pm yesterday (Tuesday February 9).

A spokesman for Metrobus said the number 20 was travelling southbound on Gatwick Road when the accident happened.

He added: “There were 10 people on board the bus. The ambulance and police were called and one of our passengers was taken to hospital as a precaution.

“The road was closed for a while by police and our buses were put on diversion.”
