UPDATE: Woman charged after '˜cannabis factory' found in shed

A woman has been charged after police discovered a '˜cannabis factory' in a shed.

Officers raided a garden shed in Beech Grove, Storrington, on Tuesday (January 5).

A spokesman for Sussex Police said 21 cannabis plants were found in the raid.

A woman was arrested on suspicion of the production of cannabis.

Leanne Johnstone, 37, of Beech Grove, Storrington, was charged with producing 21 cannabis plants and has been released on bail to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on January 21.

On Twitter Horsham Police said the property was raided after a tip off from the local community.

A spokesman said a ‘cannabis factory’ had been found and dismantled.
