UPDATE: Woman taken to hospital after car overturns

A woman was taken to hospital after a car containing two children overturned on the A24 on Thursday November 26.

Emergency services were called to the crash near the Hop Oast roundabout at around 11.30am.

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said one car was involved in the crash and contained two adults and two children.

A woman in her 20s was treated at the scene for a back injury and was taken to East Surrey Hospital, in Redhill for further checks. No-one else was injured in the crash.

The road was blocked for several hours northbound between the Hop Oast roundabout and the Broadbridge Heath roundabout.
