The owner of a missing female cocker spaniel is desperately appealing for help trying to find her as she urgently needs medication.

Ruby went missing from a stable yard in Juggs Road, Lewes, on Saturday, January 16.

Ruby’s owner, Melanie Beck, is urging people to check their gardens, field and sheds for possible signs of her dog, who has a blood condition which means she needs medication twice a day.

Specially-trained dogs have been tracking Ruby’s scent, and it is believed she is still in the Lewes District. So far, she has been tracked in Lewes, Kingston, Peacehaven, Telescombe and Rottingdean, with the most recent possible sighting in Westview Close, Peacehaven, on January 20.

Ruby is wearing a red, reflective collar. She is a spayed, older lady with a few lumps and bumps. She is tagged and microchipped.

Anyone with information is asked to call Melanie on 07920 483106 or 07460 828240.
