Urgent appeal for information as two Uckfield teens go missing

Police are searching for Marc Williams, 18, and Lewis Ashdown, 19, who have both been reported missing from the Uckfield area.

Marc (right image) and Lewis (left image) were out together in Maresfield Recreation Ground on Saturday night (29 May), but it is thought they left to go their separate ways.

Marc called his family at 11.30pm to say he was walking home but he did not arrive.

Marc is white, 5' 10", thin with short blond hair. He was wearing a black t shirt, black trousers, black walking trainers and a carrying a black back pack. He may have a hoodie on his backpack. He is believed to have had a green mountain bike with him.

Lewis is described as white, 5'8'', with short brown hair and glasses.

He was seen in Chapel Green, Crowborough about 11am on Sunday (30 May) but has not returned home.

Officers and family are concerned for Marc and Lewis and want to ensure their welfare.Anyone who has seen Marc or Lewis, or who has information on their whereabouts, is urged to dial 999 immediately.
