Urgent plea from Road Safety Group

BATTLE Area Road Safety Group urgently needs volunteers to take on the roles of chairman and secretary at the group’s AGM on Wednesday, 7.30pm at The Almonry Meeting Room (on the ground floor), High Street, Battle.

In the absence of nominations for chairman and secretary, the group will be disbanded.

Current chairman John Harmer said: “Surely there must be people able and willing to fill these two posts!

“If you live in Battle, or the surrounding villages, and care about road safety, we need your help and support to enable this group to continue and be pro-active in promoting road safety for all.”
