Van damaged in fire at Northchapel

Firefighters were called to the scene, in London Road, on the A283, at around 1.30pm.

The van was well alight when they arrived.

A hose reel and dry powder extinguisher were used to put the blaze out.

The incident is being treated as ‘accidental ignition’.
