The ongoing saga for 102 homes at Melton Drive, submitted by Wates Developments, saw the Planning Inspectorate rule in favour of Storrington residents and councillors this week.

The appeal was lodged by the developer after Horsham District Council (HDC) unanimously refused the application in July 2013, and added an additional reason to oppose the plan the following November.
