VIDEO: Carfax roadworks resume after Piazza Italia break
More misery is due for the town centre’s traders, as the Carfax closes once again.
The roadworks were suspended to allow Piazza Italia to go ahead, but have now resumed.
The original timetable would have seen the resurfacing work ending this week, but this year’s heavy rain is likely to extend the project.
Last month, town centre traders told the County Times that the roadworks had been responsible for a serious fall in their takings.
