VIDEO: Coffee mornings raise funds for cancer charity
Several stores in Horsham town centre hosted coffee mornings on behalf of the Macmillan cancer support charity this morning (Friday September 27).
At Marks and Spencer, 50p was donated to the charity per cup of coffee sold, employee Rich harvey dressed up for the cause and even policemen stopped to have a charity coffee.
Laraine Harrison of Marks and Spencer said: “We have been fundraising all week and have raised nearly £1,000. We are hoping to raise another £200 today and maybe more.”
Fundraising continued at Barclays bank, where delicious-looking cakes were available in the bank this morning.
