Games of fetch are the way to the German shepherd’s heart and once a bond has formed, Lola enjoys affection and a gentle fuss.

Tracey Rae, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Shoreham, said: “She is hoping to find a forever home with a family who can teach her new things and spoil her with lots of love.

“In order to relish all the attention from her new owners, Lola would benefit from being the only pet in the household.

“This inquisitive dog would love her new family to take her on fun walks where she can run about in the woods or explore green fields.”

Despite Lola’s playful energy, a calm and peaceful lifestyle is needed at home, with a garden for relaxing and playing with toys.

Lola would be best suited to a home where teens are aged 16 years plus, with no visiting children.
