This morning (Tuesday, February 10) fire crews from Bosham near Chichester and Turners Hill near Crawley were called to help at the hospital.

The flooding at the hospital also left all lifts in the east wing out of action. Volunteers were drafted in to direct staff and patients to alternative lifts in the west wing of the hospital.

Homefield Park, in Homefield Road, has also been flooded. Watch the video to see how the rain has swamping the grass, the children's play area and the basketball court.

Firefighters in the county have been called to more than 160 flooding incidents since 6pm last night (Monday, February 9).
