“A lot of people don’t like Lady C but I think she’s quite clever.”

Danny Gulliver is a tattooist at Skin Candy in Brighton who was born and bred in Worthing.

“Danny asked if anyone was willing to have a celebrity tattoo for his portfolio and I put down Lady C as a joke,” said Richard.

“It wasn’t because I wanted it, it was just to help my mate out.”

Richard said he had some space at the back of his left leg, so Danny created his realistic homage to reality show contestant.

Owner of Castle Goring in Worthing, Lady C entered the jungle in this year’s ITV’s I’m A Celeb and left a lasting impression on its viewers.

The Jamaican-born Royal biographer did not shy away from a bit of jungle drama and shocked viewers when she left the show on ‘medical grounds’, just days before the final.

She has also become the second biggest Google search trend in the UK.

Richard said: “I thought why not? It’s not like I don’t like Lady C, but it’s not because I’m a big fan of her’s either.”

Richard, who works for Worthing Borough Council said he would not hesitate to show Lady C his unique tattoo in a chance encounter.

“If I saw her in Tesco I’d pull down my trousers and show it to her straight away,” he said.

“Lady C is like Marmite, you either love her or hate her, but I think she’s a very clever woman.”

Richard, who also has his tongue tattooed, said it has been a long time since he had a tattoo, but he thinks his latest edition is ‘fantastic’.

“It looks a lot better in the flesh,” he added.

Lady Colin, whose work includes biographies of Diana, Princess of Wales, and the Queen Mother, is believed to have bought the Grade I listed country house in Worthing for £700,000 in 2013.

It is believed that tens of thousands is needed to be spent to repair the castle’s roof alone.
