VIDEO: Man on stilts in Horsham town centre
A man on stilts dressed in an Uncle Sam-like costume walked around Horsham’s town centre promoting Independents’ Day around midday today.
‘High profile’ Paul Goddard, booked by Horsham District Council, talked jovially to shoppers and visited independent shops.
He said: “I’ve been in this line of work for years. Since I was five.”
He added: “You know, my mum told me when I was little to grow up.
“But I think she wasn’t expecting I would this much!”
