VIDEO: Memorial for Canadian war veterans unveiled on Worthing seafront

A MEMORIAL has been unveiled to commemorate Canadian soldiers who help defend the Sussex coastline during WWI and WW2 (Sunday, August 18).

The memorial, which stands next to the Canadian flag, on Worthing seafront, was revealed during a dedication ceremony on Sunday.

It has been installed thanks to organisation Canadian Roots, led by Chris Vowles and Pam Wilson.

MPs, councillors, veterans and Canadian army lieutenant-colonal Jean Trudel, attended.
