Stade Saturdays is back for another season of music and performance at The Stade Open Space, Old Town, Hastings.

Season three opened today (Saturday 21 June) with the all new Midsummer Fish Fest where stall holders promote and sell local produce and seasonal fish over the weekend.

Cllr Peter Chowney the council’s lead member for regeneration explained: “This new, two day free fish festival funded by Hastings Fisheries Local Action Group (FLAG) built on the success of the Herring Festivals is a great way to start this seasons’ Stade Saturdays Programme.”

“This year’s programme has something for everyone and will provide free entertainment every weekend up to and including the annual bonfire night on Saturday 18 October.”

The event is also on tomorrow (Sunday) from 11am.
