The documentary's producer, Stuart McKears, has agreed with Monika's husband, roy Smith, that the film should be featured on two websites.

These will be Youtube and Veoh.

Stuart said each of the 99 stories in the documentary of 90 minutes would be featured on the sites. They would be released each day during the next few months.

About 50 per cent of the stories will be uploaded by Christmas Day to provide an alternative to watching TV.

"I hope these individual stories will both show the world Monika's talent and also show the real role of a local journalist.

"I hope people will select their favourite stories and, eventually, I hope to produce a standard 50-minute documentary by picking the most watched or top favourites," stated Stuart.

Monika died from cancer at the age of 55 in January 2006.

Stuart had begun filming her before her illness was known. He followed her on her journalistic assignments for a year.

Cycle Writer's two screenings at the Regis Centre raised more than 1,500 for four causes which Monika supported.
