A GLITTERING awards evening celebrating some of the best businesses in the Observer and Gazette area took place last night.

The event was hosted by Fred Dinenage, and held at the Hilton Avisford Hotel near Arundel, last night (Friday 19).

Among the winners was Dawn Gracie, business woman and vintage entertainer who said she was ‘delighted’ to pick up the Business Personallity Award. She even treated the audience to a display of burlesque dancing and some singing.

Tyndall Jones won the Lifetime Achievement Award for his dedication to voluntary work, charity and business.

Becky Medlam said she was ‘ecstatic’ to have won the Start-up Business Award for her business Medlam Surveys. Other winners and runners-up included Creations Hair and Beauty, The Hungry Guest and the Leconfield in Petworth and Southend Barns.

Every winner was also given tickets to Fontwell Racecourse.

The event was organised by JP South Events.
