YOUNG One Direction fans learned the band’s songs and dance routines in a workshop at the Regnante School of Performing Arts (RSOPA) today.

Children aged between five and 11 learned moves, as performed by the band, from hit songs including Best Song Ever, Little Things and What Makes You Beautiful, at the school’s studio, in Richmond Road, Worthing.

Eight-year-old Harlee Latham regularly visits RSOPA to study freestyle, tap, modern, street and ballet dance styles.

She said she liked One Direction’s singing and her favourite song was Live While We’re Young.

Niamh Hardy, six, said her favourite song was Kiss You. When she was asked what her favourite part of the day was, she said ‘basically everything’.

Amelia Regnante, RSOPA principal, said: “The children absolutely adore One Direction and I’m really about promoting fitness and health and getting kids moving, getting them active, trying to give them something else to do other than sitting on the sofa in half-term.”
