VIDEO: ‘Positive’ response to new Waitrose plans

Representatives from Waitrose and the developer Westrock met scores of Horsham residents and visitors to explain more about the ‘new West End’ development plans for the town last Friday and Saturday.

Robin Barton, Westrock’s development director, said the responses received were ‘very positive and very enthused’ and speaking to Theo Cronin confirmed they remain ‘hopeful’ of securing John Lewis alongside Waitrose at the development site off Albion Way.

Jo Thomas, the Waitrose store manager at Piries Place is excited at the prospect of a brand new and larger Waitrose in the town which will offer dedicated parking for more than 300 vehicles.
