VIDEO: Snow covers Bognor Regis.

FOR the second time this week residents across the Bognor Regis area awoke to find a blanket of the white stuff had fallen.

Today (March 12) saw more snow falling across the area with several schools forced to close and rubbish and recycling collections across the Arun district suspended.

Sussex Police have issued warnings warning drivers to only take to the roads if it is essential.

In the last 24 hours police have attended more than 300 collisions across the county. No-one suffered any life threatening injuries but some spent the night in vehicles.

A second day of delays is also being felt by rail passengers. Disruption is being experienced between London Victoria and Bognor due to snow.

Short notice cancellations and delays of up to 60 minutes can be expected across the Southern network. Travellers should check www.southernrailway.com for more details before setting off.
