Watch as Coastguard volunteers recover items from suspected migrant boat near Shoreham

Lifejackets and clothing have been recovered from a suspected migrant boat near Shoreham today (Thursday, December 23).

For the second time this week, Coastguard volunteers have been called to an empty vessel, which washed up on the beach. The first incident was reported on Sunday night.

More than 30 lifejackets and other items of clothing, including shoes, have been found onboard the boat.

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency and Sussex Police have been approached for comment.
