“I get to go in the office and get to do loads of jobs, like sending emails, writing certificates and doing some photocopying,” she explained.

“We got the chance to say what we wanted to do. Some people wanted to teach and some wanted to be in the office.

“It is quite good experience so children know what it is like.”

Teacher Coco Swanson said the day gave the children the chance to improve their presentation skills, their ability to plan and listen to one another, and the chance to learn about the range of jobs within the school.

Children who wanted to teach had to plan their own lessons, which included a session on planes, reading and maths.
