VIDEO: The magic of Arundel Festival is back again

ARUNDEL Festival swung into action with a fun-filled weekend for all the family.

And while the event’s own heritage now dates back 36 years, the festival also saluted an institution with an even longer track record.

Saturday opened with a special event marking 150 years of Arundel’s railway station, before the focus switched into the town itself.

Linking the two was a spectacular parade setting off from the station and involving many children, some in Victorian costumes in honour of the anniversary.

Gazette photographer Liz Pearce recorded the action as it happened.
