Part of the route was through West Sussex as usual, including Pease Pottage, Handcross and down through Mid Sussex on the way to Brighton.

There was also a pit stop in Crawley although some vehicles made use of the services at Pease Pottage.

The rally was started in Hyde Park by Sir Steve Redgrave, celebrity baker Paul Hollywood and Sir Ben Ainslie, who tore the red flag before the cars set off.
