VIDEO: Worthing-based rowing team to embark on Atlantic crossing
PREPARATIONS are well underway for one close-knit group’s marathon Atlantic-crossing challenge in December.
Team Atlantic Splash, based in Worthing, will compete in the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge, sailing from La Gomera, in the Canary Islands, to Antigua.
Bastien Leclair, Marc Alderman, Neal Marsh, Terry Munson and Tom Hyland hope to raise upwards of £200,000, to be split between their four charities of choice: Great Ormond Street, British Heart Foundation, Tall Ships Youth Trust and Macular Society.
