The animated comedy tells the story of a struggling children's television star who has a glimpse of the future after banging his head.

Daniel Musty, from Compulsive Productions, which led the film projects last year, said: "For me, the award is nothing more than the young people of Worthing Youth Media deserve."

Happy Cloud was filmed in Ford last May.

Animator Evan Wilkinson helped the youngsters understand the intricacies of animated film-making, Tina Walker, professional screen writer, worked with the animation team on the script and voice recording work was done at Worthing's Ivy Arch Studios.

The awards were judged by industry experts such as Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes, film actor Joseph Fiennes and television star Ben Miller.
