Views are sought on proposed new waiting restrictions across East Grinstead

Residents in East Grinstead are being invited to give their views on proposals to change existing waiting restrictions.

West Sussex County Council is proposing changes to try and improve road safety, reduce congestion and provide additional parking spaces where possible.

There will be two drop-in sessions in East Grinstead for residents to find out more and ask questions to County Council staff and staff from the contractor, Mott MacDonald.

The first drop in session will take place at East Grinstead Town Council, East Court, College Lane, on Tuesday 23 February, between 3pm and 7pm.

The second drop in session will take place at East Grinstead Library, 32-40 West Street, on Saturday 27 February, between 10am and 2pm.

The proposals are for the following roads:

• Bourg-De-Peage Avenue

• Chantlers Close

• Chequer Road

• Court Crescent

• Crossways Avenue

• Dallaway Gardens

• Dunnings Road

• Estcots Drive

• Fairlawn Drive

• Garden Wood Road

• Garland Road

• Harvest Hill

• Harwood’s Lane

• Heathcote Drive

• Hermitage Lane

• Herontye Drive

• High Street

• Hurst Farm Road

• Imberhorne Lane

• Kipling Way

• Lewes Road

• Manor Road

• Mason Close

• Maypole Road

• Mill Close

• Mill Way

• Musgrave Avenue

• Nightingale Close

• Orchard Way

• Ridgeway

• Shelley Road

• Sheridan Place

• Southlands

• Stoneleigh Close

• St Agnes Road

• St Michael’s Road

• The Rise

• Warburton Close

• Windmill Lane

Comments on the proposed changes need to be submitted before 18 March.
