Village change for Rye concert

THE John Mann organ concert scheduled for Rye College on Sunday October 27 has now been re-located to Northiam Village Hall.

The move is due to the college being closed for essential repair work.

The event has been organised by the Friends of Rye Wurlitzer and John will be playing an electronic organ.

The concert starts at 2.30pm and tickets are £7.50 on the door, to include interval refreshments.

There is ample free parking at the hall.

Richard Moore, from the Friends of Rye Wurlitzer, said: “We shall be having our AGM after the concert starting at approximately 5pm for around 30 minutes.

John is a survivor from the golden days of summer sea-side shows and plays the organ at the Brighton Dome and has released a number of recordings over the years.
