Village day cancelled following launch of summer event
THIS year’s Storrington Village Day has been cancelled following the creation of the Storrington Summer Festival by Storrington Parish Council.
Village Day chairman Norman Boyland said his committee ‘greatly regretted’ any disappointment to the public but added that they looked forward to developing other community events with the council.
It was decided the events were too similar to justify running both.
