IMPORTANT CHANGES: Important changes of date and venue for Public Meeting and Arlington Parish Council. The previously published dates have changed for the Public Meeting and the council meeting in respect of considering the parish representations to Wealden District Council on the Wealden Local Plan Issues - Options and Recommendations. The new venue is Arlington Village Hall. The new date for both meetings December 9. Public meeting 7pm to 8.30pm, full council meeting 8.30pm to 9.30pm. Agendas will be published shortly on the website and the noticeboards. Representations by parishioners to Wealden District Council on the Local Plan can be made before December 14 by going to:

Boundary Commission Review deadline November 30. Wealden District Council is proposing to the Boundary Commission that Arlington Parish should lose land on the western side of the A22 to enable the growth of Hailsham. Parishioners have only until Monday to make their representations to the Boundary Commission on this matter.

Details from; December 7, 6pm Carol singing at Upper Dicker Village Green: December 13, 7pm Carol singing at Old Oak Inn: December 20, 3pm Carol Service at St Pancras Church. Seating ‘first come first served’: December 24, 11.30pm Midnight Mass at St Pancras Church: December 25, 9.30am Christmas Morning Service at St Pancras Church.
