DICKER LITTER PICKING: A litter picking session is taking place on Sunday, meeting at the Coldharbour/Camberlot Road junction at 11am. Any volunteers who would be willing to give up an hour of their time to help smarten up the village would be welcome. Wealden Council has provided eight sets of kit consisting of litter grabbers, gloves, bags and bag hoops. If you have a hi-vis vest or jacket it is recommended you should bring and wear it.
VILLAGE LITTER PICK: On Saturday, March 25, starting at 10am from Arlington Village Hall there will be an organised litter pick. Equipment will be available at the start time and teams will spread out through Chilverbridge Roar, The Street, Wilbees Road and Caneheath. The litter pick will end around 12.30pm. OPEN DAY: On Saturday, April 1, starting at 10am, South East Water is holding an Open Day at Arlington Water Treatment Works and the Reservoir. Entry is strictly by ticket only, and places are subject to confirmation. Visit http://southeastwater.co.uk/opendays to book or telephone 01732 375410 between 9am and 5pm weekdays. An ID will be required and access is not suitable for people with impaired mobility or children under the age of 14 as the site is a working water treatment facility.
JUMBLE SALE: On Saturday, April 1, starting at 2pm there will be a jumble sale in Arlington Village Hall. Sorting of donations will start at 2pm on Friday, March 31.
DICKER DAY: Dicker Day will be held on Sunday June 25. If you and anyone you know would like to run a stall at Dicker Day please contact Simone Cranston Email: email@example.com The cost is £15 per stall.
BLUEBELL WALK: The Arlington Bluebell Walk will be open from April 8 to May 14 at Bates Green Farm. Arlington Village will be staffing the walk on April 29 and 30th and May 1. ROADWORKS: Details of imminent roadworks in the two parishes (and elsewhere) are available from https://roadworks.org/. March 11 to 13, there will be a road closure on the C207, which may result in extra traffic through Berwick and Upper Dicker. March 13 to 15, in Caneheath, outside Woodside, there may be some incursions into the carriageway.

QUIZ NIGHT: There will be a Quiz Night held on Saturday May 13, 7.30pm in Upper Dicker Village Hall. Adults £7.50, under 12s £4. Includes two course supper with tea or coffee. Bring your own other drinks.
