BOWLS: Results have not gone Barcombe’s way in the last two week with all the away games resulting in losses. St Frances 67 Barcombe 51; Hellingly 82 Barcombe 43; Portslade 71 Barcombe 29 (this match was abandoned due to heavy rain). Barcombe 00 Newhaven 00. This weekend the finals are being played as the various competitions between club members will reach their conclusion tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday. Matches will start at 10am on both days and continue into the afternoon, so why not come along we would love to see you there even for half an hour or so.

The Short Mat Bowls season will be starting in September when some of our members will be playing the game in the Sports Hall at the school. An Open Evening has been arranged to introduce the game to people on Thursday September 10 from 7.30pm. We welcome new players so do join us and find out more about the game and try your hand. We will supply the necessary equipment and refreshments, it will be a fun evening.
