FILM CLUB: Omar is about a young Palestinian freedom fighter who agrees to work as an informant, after he is tricked into an admission of guilt by association in the wake of an Israeli soldier’s killing. Doors open at the village hall tonight, Friday, at 7pm for 7.30pm start. Guests are welcome at £6 per head on the door.

CHURCH SERVICES: St John’s Bodle Street: 9.30am Morning Prayer. Noon is the church barbecue at the church.

An opportunity to explore the churchyard and take part in some competitions. If you want to bring extra food along that is fine, particularly if it is sweet.

There is no charge, but there will be an opportunity to make a donation to the work of St John’s.

Pets are welcome, so you won’t have to worry about them. Warbleton Parish Church: 11am Holy Communion. St Giles, Dallington: 11am Morning Worship.

JUMBLE SALE: Next Saturday, July 4, there will be a jumble sale at and in aid of the village hall.

This is particularly for the extension project.
