Faced with increasing police action, Maud and her dedicated suffragettes have to play a dangerous game of cat and mouse, risking their jobs, homes, family and lives for a just cause. As gripping and as visceral as any thriller, the film is also heart-breaking and inspirational. Director: Sarah Gavron. English. 2015. 106 mins 12a Cert.
