FASCOH: The Battle of Agincourt 1415 v The Battle of Waterloo 1815 are both being celebrated in various ways this year across the country. But what of the soldiers and their armoury? What would a day in the life of a soldier be like who fought in either of these battles against the French? Thursday Topics are presenting an educational and entertaining evening with two soldiers being dressed for battle at Agincourt in 1415 and Waterloo in 1815. From full plate armour and long bow to red coat and musket, Hands on History present the stark contrast between these two significant battles in our history. Friends of All Saints’ Church, Old Heathfield (FASCOH) are promoting this evening on Thursday August 20 at 7.30pm at The Space, Old Heathfield. Entrance £5, young people under 16 years free and tickets are available from Jean Barnes 01435 863784.
