FASCOH’S: The Battle of Agincourt 1415 and The Battle of Waterloo 1815 are both being remembered this year. A chance to learn about a day in the life of a soldier fighting in these battles against the French is provided at our FASCOH Thursday Topic (at The Space on Thursday at 7.30pm). This educational and entertaining evening presented by Hands on History shows two soldiers being dressed for battle at Agincourt and Waterloo. Tickets available from Jean Barnes 01435 863784. If anyone is able to help out by offering themselves as a model for the uniforms during the evening (they should be 5’10” tall and over 17 years of age) please speak to Colin Saunders.

ST RICHARD’S CHURCH: Sunday, 10am Parish Eucharist with activities for children. Tuesday, 1.30pm St Richard’s Art and Craft group in the church hall. Wednesday, 10am Holy Communion. On Sunday August 30 there will not be a service at St Richard’s. The service this week is a united service with All Saints and St George’s at St George’s Broad Oak, commencing at 10.30am.
