Heathfield, Punnetts Town, Broad Oak & Cross in Hand

CROSS IN HAND WI: 39 members and guests enjoyed a beautiful afternoon in the delightful garden of one of our Mayfield members for the annual garden meeting. The president welcomed everyone and with business kept to a minimum there was plenty of time to sit together over afternoon tea with a walk around the garden. Members were particularly interested to see the model railway lay-out surrounding the water feature and the far reaching views of the surrounding countryside. Following tea, the raffle was drawn. Birthday flowers were given to Sally Ann Donohue and our hostess, Jane Wade.

Our next meeting will be in the Village Hall at Cross in Hand on July 22 at 2pm. Mr G Enstone will speak about the Life of Kipling. If you would like to know more about us, please telephone Joy on 01435 812819 or go to www.esfwi.org.uk to find out more about our organisation.
