BOWLS BINGO: The next Bingo Night in support of Hellingly Bowls Club is on Monday at Hellingly Village Hall, 7pm for 7.30pm start. Entry is free. Refreshments. All welcome.

FLOOD RESILIENCE SCHEME: Organised by Wealden District Council, this free information event is from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday at Emmanuel Church Hall, Hawkswood Road, Horsebridge. Come along to find out how you can better protect your home and explore the wide range of property level resilience options are available to you. They will be joined by experts from the Environment Agency and National Flood Forum, who, along with other partners, will be on hand to answer your questions.

VILLAGE MARKET: This is at Chiddingly Village Hall (next to the church) tomorrow, Saturay, and on the first Saturday of every month from 10am to noon.

LENT LUNCHES: Throughout Lent the parish of Hellingly and Upper Dicker is holding a number of lunches. The proceeds will be going to the charity Caring and Sharing which supports 14 overseas projects and which provide basic necessities for very poor people. If you are interested in attending one, please contact Marian Richards 01323 441458 and she will be able to let you have dates and venues.
