CHRIST CHURCH: Today (Friday) we have another Christ Church Tots session for pre-school children and their carers from 9.30am to 11.30am. The charge is only £1 per family. We are now into Advent when we prepare for the coming of Jesus. Our Sunday morning service this week at 10.30am will be led by Rev Michael Davies and will include Holy Communion. All are welcome at both Tots and our Sunday service. We have now set our Christmas programme at Christ Church There is a Messy Church on Friday December 21 at 10.30am with crafts, worship and lunch and then a special Christingle service on Sunday December 23. There will be Christingle making at 10am and the service at 10.30am followed by minced pies. On Christmas Day there will be a Family Service beginning at 10am. Never mind all the tinsel and manic shopping, come and experience the real meaning of Christmas at our church. Peace and goodwill to all.

ST ANNE’S CHURCH: At St Anne’s Church on Monday December 17 at 7pm there will be a Civic/Parish Carol Service. On Christmas Eve the Crib Service will be at 5.30pm for children and families and Midnight Mass will be at 11pm. Holy Communion on Christmas Day will be at 8am and again at 10am with carols.

ADDITIONAL CAROLS: Carols, Mince Pies and Community Coffee with a sing-a-long will be held on Friday December 14 from 7pm to 8.30pm at St Mary’s Church Hall, Highdown Road, where there will be a retiring collection for Nevill Good Neighbourhood scheme. There will also be Carols on Neville Green with Glynde and Beddingham Brass Band on Sunday December 16 from 2.30pm to 3.30pm. All ages welcome to both.

ST MARY’S SUPPORTERS CLUB: Singer and entertainer Richard Ratcliffe performs his one man cabaret of music and comedy tomorrow, Saturday, at 8.30pm. Everyone welcome (non members £2 entrance fee). Bingo Friday December 14, cash prizes and raffle. Eyes down at 8.30pm. Everyone welcome.
