BEETLE DRIVE: The Mayor invites you to a Beetle Drive on Friday July 31, Main Hall, Community House, 7.30pm. £2per person. In aid of Homelink. Bring your own snacks and drinks.

CLASSES: Patchwork and Quilting for beginners in the Charles Neville Room, Meridian Centre. Monday evenings 6.30pm to 8.30pm, Friday mornings 10am to noon. Contact Justine 0798 876339.

MAIL COLLECTION: Royal Mail collection times at the Meridian Centre. Please note that the final collection times Monday to Friday are 4.25pm and 11.35am on Saturday. A later collection is made from the post box outside Telscombe Cliffs post office in Central Avenue.

BIGGEST COFFEE MORNING: In preparation for the biggest coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care on September 25, the Mayor is calling for all unwanted bags to sell during the event. These can be dropped off in the Information Office, Community House.

BOOK SALE: The Co-op, Meridian Centre are still running the book sale on behalf of the Mayor’s local project fund. Bring any unwanted books to the Information Office.

COFFEE MORNINGS: On Tuesday the coffee morning at the Meridian Centre will be run by Pet Rescue and on Thursday by Catholic Church. On Friday July 31 the coffee morning will be run by MenCap.

GATEWAY CAFÉ: Centenary Park, Piddinghoe Avenue. The café is open from 9am to 5pm every day selling refreshments and ice creams. The INNA charity will be caretaking the café until a new leaseholder is in place

SATURDAY MARKETS: Tomorrow’s morning market will be organised by the INNA.
