CATS CLUB: A local children’s breakfast and after school clubs is facing an uncertain future after being told it must leave its current premises. Cats Club are fundraising to find alternative accommodation. PEACEHAVEN ON SPECIAL OFFER: The Company’s production of Peacehaven on Special Offer written by Suzi Hopkins and directed by Stephen Israel will be staged on Saturday February 27 at 7pm, in the Main Hall, Community House, Meridian Centre. Tickets priced at £6.50 are on sale now from the information office.

SATURDAY CHARITY MARKET: Tomorrow’s market will be run by Harlequin Dance and Drama from 8.30am to noon.

COFFEE MORNINGS: Today, Friday, the coffee morning will be organised by Peacehaven and Telscombe Flower Club.

QUIZ: General Knowledge Quiz tonight, Friday, in the Main Hall Community House; 7pm for 7.30pm. Tables of eight £2pp. Tickets available from the information office.

BINGO: Friday February 19, Main Hall, Community House. Eight games for £4 plus flyer and snowball games. Cash prizes, free refreshments. Starts at 7pm.

WRESTLING: Further details to follow for the wrestling show on Saturday March 5. Tickets are on sale now at £10 adults, £9 concessions and £36 for a family ticket.

PEACEHAVEN WI: After the general business and correspondence, members bought tickets for next month’s ploughman’s lunch and the raffle was drawn. Following tea members gathered round Terri Simmons for a demonstration on Sugar Craft. Everyone appeared to be enthralled by each stage of creating a cake in the shape of an evening bag, complete with butter icing roses and a handle. One lucky winner, picked at random by Terri from a list of members, proudly took the cake home. Wish we were going for tea. (Joy Allen).
