FRIDAY CRAFT GROUP: Meet every Friday from 10am to 1pm, at Polegate Community Centre. We are a friendly crowd and enjoy knitting, sewing, painting, crochet, origami etc., we also have a quiz each week. Come and join us.

COFFEE MORNING: Tomorrow, Saturday, the coffee morning is hosted by The 1st Polegate Scouts. All welcome in the lounge at Polegate Community Centre from 10am to noon. All welcome.

WALKS: Tomorrow, Saturday, A Walk on the Wild Side, 4.5 miles with Greta W. Meet at Wilmington car park, 10am bus 125, 9am Terminus Road stand M, limited bus capacity. Use cars if possible. One hill, Refreshments at Alfriston.

Or, 5.2 miles with Marjorie B. Meet at Bede’s School, 10.20am, bus 3A, 10.10am Terminus Road stand M to Bede’s school. Seafront stroll, Western View to Wish Tower and return. Leader at start.

On Sunday, Another Eastbourne Town Circular Tour, 8.5 miles with John and Marion. Meet at the Avenue 9.45am where walk starts. Pavement walking, bring bus passes, lots of drop-out points.

AGE CONCERN: Are offering a bus service to Sainsburys for shopping on a fortnightly basis, cost £7 per journey. Pick up at Polegate and Willingdon. To book your place phone 638474.

SPA VALLEY RAILWAY: 2017 timetables are now available. Trains running tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday with Kids for a Quid February 2017, and at half term. Please look at our website www.spavalleyrailway.co.uk for more info.

MEN’S SOCIETY: Next meet on Monday when our speaker is John Bishop on the Cuckmere Buses. Meeting starts at 3pm at St Johns Church, High Street. Tea beforehand at 2.30pm. Visitors welcome.

MS EXERCISE CLASSES: We ae running Yoga classes on Tuesday evenings at Polegate Community Centre between 7.30pm and 8.30pm for folks with reduced mobility, with a fully proficient instructor. Exercising regularly keeps the body working to its full potential.

Exercise can improve overall health for people with milder MS. Also help people with severe MS to stay mobile and as active as possible. It will improve strength and fitness, helping with mobility and weakness problems.
