FUNDRAISING NIGHT: A joint venture by Seaford Community Cinema and The Barn Theatre with a special screening of Cage cert 15 by Seaford based writer/director Warren Dudley tonight, Friday, at The Barn Theatre, Saxon Lane, start time 7.30pm. Advanced tickets available from Seaford Tourist Information Centre, 37 Church Street. Tickets are £10 including drink and canapes.
EAST BLATCHINGTON LECTURES: Will be given on Tuesday when the speaker is Rev Chris Collison, he will talk about the men who work on the sea, their triumphs and their perils. He has called it Seamen and Flying Angels. As usual, the lecture will be at St Peter’s Church, Belgrave Road starting at 2.30pm open to all. Tickets £7 which includes refreshments and available in advance from Newberry Tully Estate Agent. Tickets can be purchased on the door but it is wise to buy in advance. These Lectures have prove a very popular series, they started over ten years ago and it is estimated that so far they have raised over £12,000 for St Peter’s Church.
SEAFORD STAMP: And Post Card Club are meeting on Wednesday at their new venue Constitutional Club, Crouch Lane, 7pm for 7.30pm start. This will be a AGM and Competition Night. FAIR TRADE MARKET 2017: Will be held on Saturday March 18 at The Clinton Centre, Clinton Place (next to Tesco’s) starting at 10am to 1.30pm. Admission 50p (accompanied children free) which includes FairTrade Coffee, tea, soft drink and tasty bites. There will be Fair Trade stalls of clothing, crafts, food products etc., Childrens Corner and FairTrade Raffle.
