SPRING FAIR: The National Trust Seaford Association (NTSA) is holding its Spring Fair tomorrow, Saturday, in St Leonard’s Church Hall from 10am to 11.30am. On sale will be cakes/savouries, bric-a-brac, books, accessories, gifts, tombola etc and a raffle. Entrance fee 50p which includes tea/coffee and biscuits. Come along and bring your friends.
ILLUSTRATED TALK: To provide a flavour of the new development and future plans of the beautiful RHS garden at Wakehurst is the alluring subject for the East Blatchington Lecture.
It will be given by Chris Clennett, Garden Manager. It will be on Tuesday starting 2.30pm at St Peter’s Church, Belgrave Road. As usual, the lecture is open to everyone. Tickets are £7 which includes refreshments and can be bought on the door but it is best to buy in advance which are available from Newbery Tully Estate Agent, 53 Church Street.
FITNESS LEAGUE: With Margaret, tone and stretch, strengthen and mobilise ready for the summer. Fun, achievable, non competitive, low impact exercises to music which are suitable for both men and women. Classes held at Seaford Head 6th Form Centre, Steyne Road on Tuesday 7pm to 8pm during term time. SEAFORD TOWN COUNCIL’S: Planning and Highways Committee will be holding their meeting at The View, Seaford Head Golf Club, Southdown Road on Thursday starting 7.30pm where the revised planning application of Newlands School will be discussed. You can view the plans at Seaford Tourist Information Centre, 37 Church Street.
