PROMISES AUCTION: The annual auction of promises held jointly by Children of Gambia Services and the Dunn Village Hall will be on Saturday October 17 at 7.15pm in the hall. The Gambian project was set up in 2007 and provides education, a meal a day, and basic medical assistance for children aged 3 to 7 years in rural locations in The Gambia, and the village hall is familiar to us all and always needs regular maintenance and repair.
There is still time to donate promises of services, admission tickets to attractions or specific items for the auction. Donors will of course be able to display promotional literature for their firm or organisation, and provide links from the COGS website and Facebook page. Contact Nina on 07701045887, for more details and offers of items.
