BAND CAROLS: Warbleton Brass band continue their busy schedule playing at the Three Cups Inn 7.30pm tomorrow, Saturday, and The Black Duck at 9pm. On Sunday they will be at Crowborough Rugby Club at 2pm, then at 6pm they will be at Warbleton Parish Church for the Carols By Candlelight service. On Christmas Eve they will be in the Rushlake Green area. I met Paul Rogers from the band and he told me that the recent concert raised £364.25 for Macmillan Cancer Support and the carolling will continue to collect for Macmillan.
CHURCH SERVICES: Warbleton Parish Church: 11am Morning Worship and children’s Sunday Club. 6.30pm Carols By Candlelight. Warbleton Brass Band will be providing some of the music and will play from 6.15pm as we take our seats. St John’s Bodle Street: 9.30am Morning Worship with Holy Communion. St Giles, Dallington: 6.30pm Readings and Carols. Heathfield Chapel: 11am Morning worship and communion led by Dave Court.
CHRISTMAS EVE: Warbleton Parish Church 4pm Crib service with a real donkey. 11.15pm Midnight service of carols and readings. St John’s Bodle Street: 6pm Candlelit Carol Service followed by refreshments and mulled wine in the village hall. St Giles Dallington: 11.30pm Christmas Communion.
CHRISTMAS DAY: Warbleton Parish Church: 11am Family Service. St John’s Bodle Street: 9.30am Family service with Holy Communion. Heathfield Chapel: 10.30am Family service led by Rad Upfield.
SUNDAY DECEMBER 27: Warbleton Parish Church: 11am Holy Communion and children’s Sunday Club. St John’s Bodle Street: 9.30am Patronal Festival Morning Prayer. Heathfield Chapel: 11am Morning worship.
COFFEE & CO: Coffee and Company will next meet at the Osborn House Community Room on Thursday December 31 for coffee and company from 10am to noon.
