Volunteer advocates needed

Advocacy helps older people speak up for their rights and promotes their interests.

Age Concern East Sussex Advocacy Service is completely independent and confidential, supporting older people who are unable to deal with difficulties alone.

Volunteer advocates give up half a day a week. Full training is provided and expenses paid.

The work involves working with older people to sort out their everyday problems, from applying for benefits to assist with their personal care to dealing with difficulties with bills from power companies.
